The College Bound Scholarship-Washington was established in 2007 for Washington residents. The award provides tuition, fees, and book allowance assistance on a last dollar basis for any in-state 2-year or 4-year institution or vocational program. Students must sign up in 7th and 8th grade and meet income and merit requirements. The program is funded by a Washington state appropriation.
