The Year One Promise at the College of San Mateo provides free tuition for full-time students in their first year on a last dollar basis. Students can also receive up to $750 in assistance for textbooks and receive other academic and social supports. The program is open to all students with priority given to local recent high school graduates and adult students, and does not factor in income.
