West Virginia PROMISE
The West Virginia PROMISE Scholarship was established in 1999 for West Virginia residents who have lived in West Virginia at least 12 months. The award provides up to $4,750 a year on a last dollar basis at in-state public or private 2-year or 4-year institutions in West Virginia. Students must also meet merit requirements. The program is funded by a West Virginia state appropriation.
