Philadelphia City Scholarship

The Philadelphia City Scholarship was established in 1959 for high school seniors who, along with their parents or legal guardians, are residents of Philadelphia. The award provides $1000 for each academic year for four consecutive years of full-time enrollment in accredited, four-year, bachelor degree programs in Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, or Montgomery counties. Students must meet the merit and need-based requirement. Awards are on a first dollar basis. The program is funded by the city of Philadelphia.
