Oakland Promise
The Oakland Promise was established in 2016 for students who graduate from Oakland Unified School District attending selected pilot schools. High school students must live in Oakland and have attended Oakland Unified School District for at least three years. Students receive up to $1000 for attending any two-year college or up to $4,000 for any 4-year institution on a last dollar basis. The program is supported by the East Bay College Fund.
