Newark College Promise

    The Newark College Promise was established in 2014 for current Newark residents, graduating from Newark High School, who live in public housing or receive housing choice vouchers from Newark Housing Authority at least 12 months prior. The award provides support on a last dollar basis for Essex County College or any in-state public 4-year institution. Students must also meet income requirements. The program is funded by the Newark Housing Authority.
