New Haven Promise
The New Haven Promise was established in 2010 for residents of New Haven who attend New Haven public schools. The award covers up to full tuition on a last dollar basis based on years in the school district. High school graduates must also meet merit requirements. Students can attend any in-state 2-year or 4-year public institution. The program is supported by Yale University, Yale-New Haven Hospital, Wells Fargo, and the Community Foundation of Greater New Haven.
