Mississippi Tuition Assistance Grant
The Mississippi Tuition Assistance Grant was established in 1995 for residents who have lived in Mississippi for at least one year. The award provides up to $500 per year for freshmen and $1,000 for sophomores on a last dollar basis at any in-state public 2-year or 4-year institution. High school graduates must also meet merit requirements. The program is funded by appropriations from the Mississippi State Legislature.
