Jacksonville Commitment
The Jacksonville Commitment was established in 2008 for residents of Florida who are recent Duval County public high school graduates. The award provides remaining tuition, after other aid is taken into consideration, for students who attend the University of North Florida, Jacksonville University, Edward Waters College and Florida Community College at Jacksonville. Students must be the need-based requirement. Awards are on a last dolla basis. The program is funded by federal and state funds, privately funded grants and funds from the four colleges.
