Hartford Promise
The Hartford Promise was established in 2015 for Hartford residents who graduate from Hartford Public Schools and attended for at least four years. The award, on a last dollar basis, covers up to $5,000 at in-state public 4-year institutions or $2500 or in-state public 2-year institutions. High school graduates must also meet merit requirements. The award is funded through a partnership with Hartford Public Schools, Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, and other donors.
