Hammond College Bound Scholarship Program
The Hammond College Bound Scholarship program was established in 2006 for residents of Hammond who own a home in city limits and attend Hammond schools at least from 6th grade. The award is pro-rated and can be up to $10,500 on a last dollar basis. High school graduates must also meet merit requirements and students can attend any college or university. The program is funded through selling water contracts with the state of Illinois.
