The Greenwood Promise
The Greenwood Promise was established in 2016 for high school graduates living in Districts 50, 51, and 52 and who attend a public/private high school or were homeschooled. The scholarship is last dollar and covers tuition and fees at Piedmont Technical College or another South Carolina technical college if the program does not exist at Piedmont. Awards are pro-rated starting in kindergarten and students must at least live in the area since 9th grade. The program is supported by Greenwood Partnership Alliance, Foundation for a Greater Greenwood County, and individual donors.
