Arkadelphia Promise was established 2010 for residents of Arkadelphia School District who graduate from Arkadelphia High School. Students must also be eligible of the Arkansas Academic Challenge Scholarship. The award pro-rates based on length in school district and covers up to 4-year in-state public tuition rates at any school (in-state or out of state) on a last dollar basis. The program is primarily funded by Southern Bancorp's and the Ross Foundation.
