Adopt a Fifth Grader
Adopt a Fifth Grader was established in 2007 for residents living in Lake County or Medocino County, and attending a Lake County or Medocino County school. The award provides a $25 check and a certificate awarding them a $1,000 scholarship to attend Medocino College. Students must come from a low socio-economic background and must be high achieving. Awards are on a first-dollar basis. The program is funded by private donors and donations.
